INTERACTIVE SPOOKY CAT

The interactive spooky cat is a fun halloween project designed for SparkFun Electronics. The cat features toy cat skeleton atop a discrete laser cut acrylic enclosure housing an ultrasonic distance sensor, music player, speaker, servo motor, and a strip os WS2812 addressable LEDs. When the distance sensor is triggered by a passerby, the LED strip lights up in red, the servo motor starts pulling the cat’s mouth open and shut, and a screeching hiss is played. Check out this distance sensing Halloween prop designed to spook the willies out of trick-or-treaters. As we approach the end of October, the spooky Halloween energy is starting to find its way into my world.
